There’s a New Kit Kat in Town

Southern island mango flavored (a speciality of Okinawa apparently)

Jun explained to me that the kanji 南国 implies the islands that are along the equator or close to it. I found this Kit Kat at a Toys R Us and I was actually a little excited to see a new flavor. I did not end up buying it as the thought of mango and chocolate seems like a terrible idea, so we will never know if this exotic Kit Kat was worth anything. Alas.

My previous Kit Kat related post can be found here.

  1. I think mango and chocolate could be okay, especially if it’s dark chocolate. Mango, chocolate, and crispy bits, on the other hand… not so sure about that 🙂

(Just found your blog – it’s fun reading about adventures in teaching and otherwise!)

  2. Mom >> hence the reason why said Kit Kat was not bought :p

Sarah >> Long time no see/chat/whatever! I don’t think that the chocolate was dark chocolate. I see how that might work though. Even if one wanted to try the mango Kit Kat…there were 12 little packages for a total of 24 individual Kit Kats…little too much 😉
